Jeff Wallenius
Director of Business Development
Jeff joined GenOpp in 2024 as Director of Business Development. His responsibilities include refining and executing marketing strategies, managing investor relations, overseeing marketing content distribution, and contributing to the firm’s operational and financial infrastructure.
Jeff brings over two decades of expertise in residential and real estate development. He led the creation, fundraising, and management of two SEC-regulated investment funds, with operations spanning eight states and a diverse range of asset classes. In addition, he co-founded a Pacific Northwest-based real estate investment company, specializing in multifamily housing solutions and storage facilities along the West Coast, and mobile home communities in the Midwest.
Prior to transitioning to real estate and business development, Jeff served as a professional firefighter working through the ranks and retired as a company officer. His ability to lead teams under pressure and manage complex situations laid the foundation for his success in building and managing high-performing organizations.
